I’m thinking of putting the 0811 from National in one of my designs..
When I ordered a few samples from my local supplier there were some
confusion wether it is a easy-to-get chip or not..

Anyone know if it will be avaliable in large (k) amounths in a few
years from now ?

Does anybody know of a device or component that I can insert into the
telephone line that can boost the ringer equivalency capacity of the
system. Such a device would have to be an amplifier of some sort.

The problem I have is I installed an ISDN terminal adapter (Ascend 25)
and am now running the phones in my house off of it. Normally the
phone company puts out/supports an REN of 5 which rings all 5 phones
in my house (I added up the actual RENs  and they come to 2.3 – no
problem). However, they cut costs in these adpter boxes and they only
support an REN of 2 !!!  So I can only run 3 out of the 5 phones I
have. Any ideas how I can get my other 2 phones to ring?

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

a shot?)  They don’t have to be new, in spec, or even completely

I am having a problem with retaining data in a 24C16 serial EEPROM. After a
few days, the data seems to get "lost", probably during powerup. Has
anyone had a similar experience or know of a good fix? I would doubt that
the proper address is sent to the chip during startup.
