I’m seeing many posts from bestproto pushing their software. Is there
any chance that their suicidally harsh licensing policy might change
in the future? Their current licensing policy makes a dongle look like
a wonderful thing. They take system and drive information and use that
for a checksum, which they use to generate a key which is needed to
activate the package. If the system or drive changes the license
expires. I would really love to try the current version, and if it
is decent buy it, the $295 price looks great to me, however, I wouldn’t
be willing to part with much more than $10 for a product with this
kind of licensing limitation.
