Need small pcb mountable pump

I am despartely searching for a small pcb mountable air pump to generate
5psig.

This would be similiar to the pumps used in the over the counter blood
pressure monitors that use a small pump to inflate the cuff.

Thanks!

Need help in indentifying Toshiba IC

I have an old Kenwood Power Amplifier for a car stereo that I would like
to put back into service.  The amp is a model KAC-424 and sports two
Toshiba amplifier chips for the power output.  My problem is that the
two Toshiba chips are literally blown out.  I mean they each have a hole
in them that looks like a minor explosion took place inside. This has
caused the lettering on the front of the chip to be partially obscured.
What I can read from whats left is this,

                        TA 7250..
(the dots indicate numbers that are probably there but I can’t make
out.)

If anyone can shed light on what the likely complete indentifier is for
the IC I would be grateful.  I also can’t locate a source for Toshiba
chips so if anyone knows of a source of Toshiba (or equivalent) chips
that would most appreciated also.  Thanks in advance.

Re: what is Hall effect?

From article <55pppn$…@jagalchi.cc.pusan.ac.kr>, by sss…@hyowon.cc.pusan.ac.kr (shin seoksoo):

Take a conductor of nonzero width, say a conducting ribbon, and put it
in a magnetic field, where the field is perpendicular to the ribbon.
Then allow current to flow along the length of the ribbon.  A voltage
will develop across the ribbon.  This is the Hall effect.  Here is a
picture:
                         Field
                voltage    /\
                        +  ||
          _______________\_________________
          \                                \
      ==>  \                                \  ==> current
            \________________________________\
                             \
                           /\ –
                           ||   voltage

Why is there a voltage?  Because the field deflects moving electrons
away from the + edge and towards the – edge.

Hall effect sensors use this effect to sense magnetic fields.

Hollow Conductor Wire

I am looking for a source of hollow conductor copper wire (in the 10-14
gauge range) for use in a water-cooled coil.

I have seen references to it, but never the name of a supplier.  The
alternative would be fine copper tubing, but it may not have enough
copper left, and would not be insulated.

Thanks.

NiMH batteries

Hi,
        I was wondering where I could buy some NiMH batteries, ‘plain’ ones,
not the ones with built-in chargers.

Thanks,
