Zetron DID Converters (Model 50) For Sale

I have TWO Zetron Model 50 DID Telephone Trunk Converters for sale.

These both are in BRAND NEW CONDITION.  They were in use for less than a year.

A DID (direct inward dial) line allows each mobile radio or pager to be
reached at a unique, seven-digit telephone number, just as in cellular
service.  A caller doesn’t have to overdial extra codes in order to reach
a radio or pager.

They were designed to be used with a Zetron Model 45B (Z-Patch), 46
(Trunked Interconnect) or Model 48B (Repeater Manager) but will work with
ANY DID installation.

Rack-mount. All manuals included.

This allows each subscriber to have his own unique telephone number!

Original price was $1,000 each.  Willing to sell for $1200 for both or
$700 each — OR BEST OFFER.

Hitachi SRAM's: 65256/62256

hey people. I was recently given a batch of Hitachi HM65256BLP-12 SRAM’s,
which as far as i know, are 32Kx8. Is the pinout for these the same or at
least similar to the 62256 32k8 SRAM pinout that i’m familiar with?

Hitachi’s website doesn’t have the chip..

Another thing: Is there a 512Kx8 SRAM made that comes in a DIP package?
I’m trying to get one for my KPC-3, and the only ones i’ve been able to
find are 32pin PLCC packages. There are plenty of PLCC-to-DIP converters
out there, but the only ones i’ve found stick to square PLCC packages,
i.e. 20/28/44pin. Alternatively, if anyone knows where i can get a
PLCC-DIP converter that takes a 32pin PLCC, tell me about it.

Looking for a good way to buy Motorola parts…

I have this project I need to get done.  All the parts were done with Motorola
stuff like eproms and a microcontroller.  I am unsure how to get these things
since motorola dealers are no where near me and what not.  Any clues would be
great.  Thanx…

Re: The IBM-PC 8253 timer – What do the outputs control?

In article <5b81nh$…@news.mel.aone.net.au>, elmer…@wb.com (Elmer Fudd) says:

>I know the first channel (by default) is set in MODE 0 (interrupt on
>terminal count) and is responsible for the ticks that occur 18.2
>times/second, by triggering hardware interupt 0.

>BUT!  What do the other channels output too?

The 8253 (later 8254, intergrated in the 82C206 etc)) has three
timer channels

The 2nd is triggering the dram memory refresh, the dma channel 4.
The 3rd is used for the speaker sound (there is a gate circuit).
