It has different Voltage / Current specs (never seen this before)
30 Volts at 5.2 Amps
20 V @ 7.0 A
10 V @ 9.5 A
3 V   @ 12 A

Looking for SSS2N90 DATASHEET OR EQUEVALENT

Design question ?

What is the SIMPLEST way for implementing  the box "A" with the
following specification ?

The input is either connected to -5V or GND.
when input = -5V the output should be logic 1 (TTL or CMOS).
when input = GND the output should be logic 0 (TTL or CMOS).
The only available voltages that could be used inside A are
+5V and GND (not -5V).

                     __________
                     |         |
                     |         |
(inp. -5V/0V)—–>  |   A     |——>(outp. TTL/CMOS 1/0)
                     |         |
                     |_________|

Thanks a lot in advance

Looking for polyswitch device

Hi, I am looking for a  huge amount of Polyswitch Surface Mount Device.
The polyswitch device is used in various application including
1) Computers and Peripherals
2) Disk Drives
3) Adapter Cards
4) Power Supplies
5) Printers
6) Electronic Instrument
7) Alarm Systems
8) PBX,KTS Systems

Overcurrent Protection
**************************
The polyswitch circuit protector is a positive temperature coefficient
resistor that undergoes a large, abrupt change in resistance when an
overcurrent or high temperature heats it above its transition temperature.

Normally just tenths of an ohms, the resistance of the Polyswitch device
increases
by several orders of magnitude when switched. This increase limits the
circuit current to milliamps.

Remotely Resettable
************************
The device will reset when voltage in the circuit is removed or in some
cases will reset automatically when the overload condition is
corrected.Normal circuit operation can then be resumed. The device requires
no manual resetting or replacement.

Latching(noncycling) operation
***********************************
After switching, the polyswitch device is latched into its high resistance
protective state by the small sustained self heating current. The device
will reset only after
it has been cooled anf the fault condition has been corrected, thus avoiding
continous
cycling that could cause circuit damage.
****************************************************************************
******************
I believe Raychem is the sole manufacturer of this device. However  I will
strongly considered all compatibles that are able to meet the following
criteria
Singapore Electronic Distributor is strongly welcome but foreign
distributors is
of no exception.

Help : 20A Fuse, VDE Approved

I need to source a 20A Fuse and fuse-holder which are VDE approved to
20A.

Currently using a 5x20mm Glass-type fuse, with a panel-mount
fuse-holder, but is not panel-mounted. Size is important since it is
fitted into a small square case.

Any Suggestions ?  (All are welcome)

Address for "Superior Electric"

Can anyone give me an address or phone number for the company "Superior
Electric" who make stepper motors. The 6 year old number I have for them
has been disconnected and directory enquiries were unable to help.

I will be happy with an address/phone number in any English speaking
country.

Check out the LMC6032/LMC6034 or LM6132/LM6134.  The data sheets and
free samples are available at "www.national.com/design".  The final
device choice will depend on your cost/performance criteria.
