Adaptaplugs

Radio Shack has a system of interchageable DC power plugs for their wall
adaptors. In their current incarnation (mimiced by numerous no-name wall
warts at appliance stores) the plug is molded onto a bi-pin plug that is
then pugged into the DC supply.

Anyone know of a third-party source for bi-pin SOCKETS that fit these
plugs? By my measure, the pins are 1.5mm in diameter and,
center-to-center, are spaced 4mm apart.

Flat PIC 16c84-10

Hi all,
I´m looking for a solution how to get a PIC 16c84-10 as flat as a smartcard
(max. 1mm thick).
But I cannot use the PIC-Smartcard provided by Arizona Mc, because I need 3
I/O lines, the smartcard for A M provides just 2 I/Os. I´ve to monitor 2
lines permanently and have to switch a third from three-state to output at
a specific moment. While putting out data I still have to monitor the other
2 lines.
I tried to bring down some plastic from the chips surface (SOIC, 3mm), but
the chip was always destroyed by static electricity when to much plastic
was removed.
Who can help?
Thanks in advance

Device SD241?

I’m in search of a device labeled  SD241 – It’s a 30 Amp Shotky Diode
package with a common cathode (15 Amps per leg).  It’s a TRW device
being
used in a supply as a full wave rectifier, but the recovery time on a
regular full-wave rectifier evidiently isn’t fast enough for the
application.

The one I need is in a TO3 package. It doesn’t cross to an SK series,
and
the only ECG replacement is in the wrong style package. It may be my
last
resort to modify the heat sink to accomodate it.

If you’ve got any resource material that would point to a source, I’d
appreciate a call or a Email …

Identify microcontroller by partial pinout?

I’m trying to identify a microcontroller.  It has a 28 pin SMD package.

        -|      |-

    CLK -|      |-
        -|      |-
        -|      |-
    GND -|14  15|-
          ~~~~~~
The CLK pins are used for clocking with a 5 MHz Quartz and some capacitors.
The labeling of the chip has been removed.  Do you have an idea which
microcontroller this could be?
Does IR pass through the walls of a black PVC pipe?
I am looking for an inexpensive way to detect whether a vertical pipe is
empty or full, at a particular point.  The pipe contains animal feed
(not a liquid).
I prefer not to drill into the pipe (at least, not to make a hole all
the way through the pipe wall).  The pipe is 4-inch diameter, with walls
about 3/16-inch thick, so the IR beam will have to pass through 3/8 inch
of black PVC.
Thanks.
Mike
TA78L info
Hy folks   does anybody knows what is the TA78L.
I believe it could be a voltage or current regulator as it is
connected.
I have to replace it and nobody sell it here.
It has three pin and a case just little bigger of a small transistor.
It is inside a scanner receiver AR 1500 by AOR in the battery charge
circuit, but I do no have the electric schematic.
any help will be appreciated
Marco
