TA7635p IC need pinout and/or data
MN3007 chip
A friend of mine is trying to find a UK source for the MN3007 bucket-brigade
delay chip. He says he’s tried Maplin to no avail, and Cricklewood, who
appear to have the chip but no online means of ordering it – "Secure Online
Buying Facility Has Not Yet Been Enabled". I guess my friend could pick up
the phone and speak to Cricklewood, but I think he prefers not to speak to
humans.
So, if anybody knows where this chip can be sourced, please post.
Thanks

Multisim Experts-> ?transformer inductance values?
I’m looking to find the inductance values for the coils in a multisim
transformer.
Alright, I’m trying to simulate a simple diode modulator for a school
experiment and am stumped at simulating the IF can.
I understand how to make an IF can with two capacitors set in
resonance with the inductors in the transformer, only I’m stumped at
determining/setting the inductance values.
I’ve been trying to decipher multisims settings to find values for the
inductance formula:
L = N^2*(u*A)/length
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The experiment I’m looking to
simulate requires trials through stages for way more components than I
have.
Thanks again,
Alex

Programmable logic
I’ve been out of the design loop for awhile. Getting back into it with
AVR’s and at home pcb techniques. Is there any programmable logic, that
is easily done at home with free or low cost tools?
Thanks,
Phil
Where to get Graphic lcd's with touchscreens
I am trying to find an lcd and touchscreen for use in a project I am
working on. I need a mono graphic lcd module with a resolution of
128×64 or maybe 128×128. I can find plenty of 128×64 displays but
none with a touchscreen or a touchscreen to fit. Can anyone tell me
where to find a touchscreen or a display with and integrated
touchscreen. I prefer the COG displays due to low cost and thinness.
The smt connector is no big deal. I also looked at a Microtips part
that seemed perfect when I was it in the mouser catalog, but had some
serious drawbacks when I looked at the datasheet(odd controller, bad
datasheet, external voltage divider and opamp). I attempted to
purchase an optrex display with an attatched touchscreen through
apollodisplays (the optrex distributor) and they would not sell to me.
This seems to be common in lcds. Any suggestions for places to
purchase these that will sell to individuals?

ID'ing an IC from a HP calculator
From a HP calculator (HP48 IIRC), there’s a IC labeled:
[logo that looks like Epson?] JAPAN
SED1181F(in big letters) l4 (thats lowercase L then 4, but the 4 looks rather
like an A. And that’s in small letters.)
Y490 547
It’s some sort of LCD driver, AFAIK. I looked on www.datasheetlocator.com for
datasheets of this IC. No help, because I don’t know if the exact part number is
SED1181F, SED1181, SED1181FL4 or SED1181FLA.
If anybody here has a datasheet for this IC, please reply.
Thanks!

Best Microcontroller
Hi all, I am just wondering what your Favorite programmable microcontroller is
and why? I am trying to find out as much information about different types of
microcontrollers to compare.
Thanks,

REQ: Heathkit Transistor ID
Hello,
I have a Heathkit clock model GC-1005 which is having display problems that I
think may be due to bad transistors. I’ve been able to identify 2 of the 3
transistor types used but am stumped on the 3rd. I don’t have a manual yet
(one is ordered) but I would like to get this part identified a.s.a.p.
The transistors in question are probably PNP, appear to be anode HV drivers
for the multiplexed neon readouts. They’re marked: "417295" (this
probably=Heathkit P/N "417-295") then below that "M224". The "M" looks like
the Motorola logo. I have searched the internet and found nothing useful
under any of those numbers or {Motorola and 224}.
TIA
