AD136 Transistor – What is it?

I have an Electronic Strobe, Minox ME-1.
The power transistor has died.  It is an AD136
Can anybody help me get info on it?  Manufacturer? Whether it is a PNP
or NPN? Possibly an equivalent.

Thanks,
Richard

    It’s a PNP germanium device – Siemens, ft = 0,3 MHz,  Ucbo < 50 V,
                                           Ic < 10 Apeak. Ptot < 11 W.

It may be possible to replace it with a silicon PNP transistor,
