Replacement for Tyco RC car component

Hi,

My son’s Tyco RC car has blown two components that look like transistors.
Can anybody point me at suitable replacement parts?

Their packaging looks like a double-height TO-92, showing the following
codes:

A1160
B:.2C

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Timo

Matches the description for a 2SA1160 (or perhaps 2SA1160-B), Toshiba
silicon PNP in a TO-92MOD case.

Looks like a Zetex ZTX749 might do the trick, if you don’t mind
crossing the leads over to deal with the altered pinout… Digikey has
    these for under $0.80 each.

http://www.cpcares.com/ lists the exact replacement parts for about
the same price.  Haven’t dealt with them myself.
