I (and probably others) am/are probably wondering what a rubber key is. I’ve seen a house fly and a horse fly, but I’ve never seen an elephant fly (remember Dumbo?)

In case you’re wondering, the rubber used here is conductive. It is set up to short across traces on a printed wiring board when the button is pressed. A quite wear-resistant means of making a switch.

Perhaps he means Rubber Duckey? (10-4, good buddy) Don’t bother they’re rubbish……:-(

Maybe you use rubber only for deleting your pencil. But someone also use rubber for switching. You (and probably others) look in ITT Cannon Switch Products catalog (1995), page E-17 upper left corner. Explanation for others, rubber keys or rubber switch pads are the mostly used on TV remote controler. Sorry to exite you!

Great answer Rehar ! I always wonder why do they keep their noses so high ?
Our countries may be smaller and less powerful than their, but that doesn’t allow them to ‘rub’ our pride !
